The most unique condo I have seen in a long time has to be the Sheridan Garage in Georgetown. The building sits subtly amongst the neighborhood while maintaining a strong presence in Georgetown. The units preserve the luxury that owners would expect buying in Georgetown by focusing on light, space and outdoor amenities.

This past week I had the pleasure of previewing Brook Rose & HRY Design's Iridium Condominium in Capitol Hill. While I can not say I was surprised at the quality of workmanship, I will say that Brook's designs yet again exceeded my expectations. The ultra-contemporary finishes, clean lines, balconies, wide-planked flooring and Silestone really set the building apart from the competition.

I havent had the opportunity to head over to the Brooks Condominium yet but I can say that I am very excited about having another option in Brookland. The building sits on 12th street and while it is one of Brookland's busier streets, its also one of the most convenient. The interior looks above average, with stainless appliances, hardwood floors and granite. Its worth a look... BuildingDC.com

I have to say that its rare to be pleasantly pleased in today's market. Much of the development in the city is built with less quality and lifestyle mindedness than has been done in the past. Beekman Place, however, is just the opposite. While the community sits on 16th street, the tranquility of the gated community, garage and on street parking, and outdoor space on every condo sets itself apart from the competition. The units seem well built, quiet, and would be at the top of any discerning buyer's list interested in being in the heart of the city without feeling like it. More info can be found at BuildingDC.com
